In coating systems, in addition to self-levelling coatings, some coatings can be topped with epoxy or polyurethane top coats depending on some conditions and expectations. If the application is done outdoors and is exposed to sunrays, polyurethane top coat is required. If the surface needs to be rough, epoxy top coat that feels like orange peel is used.
